The USGS announced that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 95 kilometers.
Indonesia Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Institute (BMKG) announced that the magnitude of the earthquake was 7.9. While a tsunami warning was issued after the earthquake, no loss of life or property has been experienced yet.
