Street interviews are popular in Turkey lately. Especially youtube publishers who criticize the government are under threat.

Recently, many Youtube publishers have been attacked in Turkey.

Three people who were detained after the attack on Ebru Uzun Oruç and her husband Barış Oruç were released. Oruç commented, "Silencing the press means taking away the people's right to speak."

Ebru Uzun Oruç made the following statement on twitter

"The perpetrators of the planned and deliberate attack on us were caught and they were released after taking their statements. It should be known that this attack was not only carried out against the Sokak Kedisi, but was made against all members of the press in our country, targeting the freedom of speech and opinion of the people! Silencing the press means taking away the people's right to speak! Sokak Kedisi team, we will continue to fight against the mentality that tries to usurp the people's right to speak, and to make the people's voice heard with much greater determination."
