Cargo Plane Lost Landing Gear During Takeoff
A Boeing 747 Dreamlifter cargo plane en route from Italy to the United States broke one of its landing gear shortly after takeoff.
Shortly after takeoff, a Boeing 747 Dreamlifter type cargo plane taking off from Taranto, Italy, to Charleston, South Carolina, USA, broke a wheel from its landing gear. It was reported that the plane belonging to Atlas Air continued its flight after the accident and landed safely at Charleston Airport.
Just after the plane took off, when the landing gear was closed, one of the wheels exploded and fell into the airport.
