Flood disaster in Iran! 3 people died in 3 provinces
Heavy rainfall caused flooding in Iran's West Azerbaijan, Ilam and Gazvin provinces.
In the flood disaster caused by heavy rains that affected a total of 24 provinces in the south and west of Iran, 3 people lost their lives in the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Ilam and Gazvin.
Iranian Red Crescent Vice President Murtaza Pur gave information about the rains and the flood disaster that were effective throughout the country and said, "The precipitation has increased in the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Kermanshah, Ilam and Loristan. So far, those trapped in 73 households where floods have been experienced in the regions where the rains have been effective have been evacuated. In a 24-hour period, a total of 861 people were rescued from the flood disaster in 11 cities, 21 villages and 2 nomadic settlements.''
Murtaza Pur stated that 3 people lost their lives due to flooding in West Azerbaijan, Ilam and Gazvin provinces, where the flood was effective, and warned the people not to go out unless it is necessary and to stay away from the river banks. On the other hand, it was stated that while electricity was not supplied to 86 villages due to the flood disaster in Loristan province, 5 thousand hectares of agricultural land were flooded in Burucerd province.
