Receiving a report that a high-rise building had fallen in New York on Friday, the police were shocked when they went to the scene.
The person the police encountered was Gustavo Arnal, chief financial officer or CFO of Bed Bath & Beyond, who is known to live on the 18th floor of a 57-story skyscraper.
Paramedics arriving at the scene confirmed that 52-year-old Gustavo Arnal died after falling from the 57-story skyscraper known as the 'Jenga' tower in New York's Tribeca district.
Bed Bath & Beyond's chairman of the board said the company was "deeply saddened" by Arnal's death.
