The New York Post, one of the most widely read newspapers in the USA, announced that the files belonging to Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden, whose name was mentioned with scandals in 2020, were censored on Facebook and Twitter.

Although Twitter management announced that the disclosure files seized from Hunter Biden's hacked laptop were removed in accordance with the "unauthorized material" policy, it turned out that this was just an excuse after Twitter changed hands.

Intra-Company Correspondence Announced

Journalist Taibbi's post titled 'Twitter Files' contains internal correspondence between Twitter employees.

According to internal correspondence, the Hunter Biden news, published on October 14, 2020, was removed by the administrators and a 'not safe' warning was added to the posts about it.

According to Taibbi, the censorship decision was taken by the company's top executives, but Jack Dorsey was unaware of it.

Vijaya Gadde, Twitter's former head of law and policy, is thought to have played a 'key role' in the censorship decision.

It is known that the Twitter team intervened and deleted the content with some tools developed for the company. However, according to Taibbi's claims, these interventions to combat spam and fraud have now gained a manipulative dimension and have come to the interest of politicians.
