Sao Paulo state officials announced that search and rescue and road clearing efforts are continuing and are heavy. Nearly 4,000 people had to leave their homes due to adverse weather conditions.
A Brazilian Navy ship arrived in Sao Sebastiao yesterday and brought various relief items. The ship, which includes helicopters and various vehicles, will serve as a field hospital.
