The number of people who lost their lives in two separate earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 in Kahramanmaraş on February 6 is increasing day by day.

It has been 9 days since the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaras and hit 10 provinces. President Erdoğan stated that 35,418 people lost their lives in the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaras. The treatment of 13 thousand 208 injured continues.

It is stated that Turkish Airlines has provided 173,564 search-rescue and aid teams to the disaster area with 997 flights since the day of the earthquake. In addition, it was reported that 165 thousand 73 people were evacuated from the region with 1002 flights.

A total of 195 thousand 962 disaster survivors were evacuated from the provinces affected by the earthquake.

In the earthquake, where 35 thousand 495 search and rescue personnel were on duty, 9 thousand 793 foreign search and rescue personnel took part day and night.
