4 Regions will pass to Russia by January 1, 2026
According to the decision approved in the Duma, the transition process of the 4 regions annexed from Ukraine to the Russian Federation is expected to be completed by January 1, 2026. At the same time, according to the draft approved by the deputies, all rights, the rights of residents such as employment, education, social, health and retirement will be guaranteed by the Russian Federation.
In addition, according to the decision taken, those residing in the new territory of Russia, residing in these territories before and immigrating to Russia will be able to become citizens of the Russian Federation, provided that they apply and take an oath.
