According to the news in the Dailymail newspaper, a woman with four children was thrown out of her house by the attackers on 28 March and buried alive in a grave in the Visconde do Rio Branco Municipal Cemetery in Minas Gerais state.
CEMETERY WORKERS HEARD THE WOMAN'S SCREAMS, SHE SURVIVED AFTER 10 HOURS
The cemetery workers, who followed the screams they heard, informed the security forces when they saw the traces of blood on the grave.
The unfortunate woman, who was buried in the cemetery for 10 hours, was rescued by the emergency rescue teams sent to the region.
While the victim, who was injured in the head and learned that she had fractures and cuts on her body, was being treated at the hospital, the doctors announced that the woman in the intensive care unit was in danger of losing her fingers.
TWO PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ARRESTED RELATED TO THE CASE
Visconde do Rio Branco Police said at a press conference about the blood-curdling incident that the 20 and 22-year-olds, whose names were not disclosed, planned to flee to Rio de Janeiro after their horrific crime.
Police Chief Douglas Moto stated that both individuals had been in prison in the past for arms and drug trafficking, and emphasized that the defendants would be tried in pretrial detention.

In the news in the local media, it was claimed that the defendants attacked the woman because of the drugs and weapons they kept in her house, and her husband got rid of them at the last moment.
The 36-year-old woman, in her first statement after regaining consciousness, stated that when she opened her eyes, she found herself in the cemetery.
