Hurricane Ian, which caused great destruction in the state of Florida in the United States (USA), headed towards South Carolina.
In a statement, the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) noted that Hurricane Ian, which lost its effect along the Florida coast, strengthened along the Atlantic Ocean yesterday afternoon and headed towards South Carolina.
Wind speed of the hurricane is expected to reach 120 kilometers per hour. Authorities warned citizens against floods, landslides and tornadoes due to the hurricane, which is expected to be effective in South Carolina, as well as North Carolina and Georgia.
The report, prepared in November 2020, said that 90 percent of homes in Charleston were found to be vulnerable to storms and flooding.
