Now the couple lives in Berlin. They went through a difficult time. But now they are very happy.
They brought their cats with them from Ukraine. They were also invited to the reception at the end of the two-day meeting of the Asylum and Migration Organization in Berlin from 21 to 22 July. Everyone who read the couple's story was very impressed.
Insight, a Ukrainian LGBTQ and intersex rights organization, helped Baraniuk and Mulyukina and their cats enter Poland. They spent a week there before arriving in Berlin on April 28. . They now live in Berlin.
