Turkey ranked 124th out of 146 countries in the 'Global Gender Gap Report' published by the World Economic Forum (WEF). According to the report; While the projected time to achieve full gender equality was 99.5 in 2020, this period increased to 132 years due to the increasing violence, murder and dismissals against women in the Kovid-19 outbreak.
Leaders of Full Gender Equality
In the Global Gender Gap Report published by WEF, the countries with the lowest gender gaps were Iceland, Finland and Norway, respectively, while Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Democratic Republic of Congo were the last three countries.
For the WEF's Global Gender Gap Index (GGGI), when considering the differences between men and women, the report found that women occupied about 68 percent of the position of men globally.
