The dinosaur skeleton (T-Rex/Tyrannosaurus-Rex) brought from the USA to Zurich, Switzerland, in 9 large boxes, began to be exhibited at the Tonhalle Zurich Concert Hall. The 3.9-meter-long skeleton was placed on the red carpet and opened to the public.
The giant dinosaur skeleton, which will go up for auction on April 18 at the Koller auction house, is expected to sell for between 5 and 8 million Swiss francs. The dinosaur skeleton consists of the bones of three dinosaurs excavated in the state of Montana and Wyoming between 2008 and 2013. "This skeleton is called Trinity because it consists of 3 dinosaurs," said Cyril Koller, owner of the auction house where the sale will take place.
The bones are said to be 67 million years old.
