Ingredients for Boza
- 3 cups bulgur
- 2.5 cups of sugar
- And 1 packet of vanilla
- 2 teaspoons of powdered yeast
- 4-5 liters of drinking water
Add the bulgur to the large pot. Then leave it overnight with 2 liters (10 cups) of hot water on it.
In the morning, add hot water again until the bulgur, which absorbs its water, is covered, and put it on the stove.
Boil the bulgur until it is mashed.
Then mash the mixture with a blender. Add hot water from time to time and try to thicken it.
When it cools down, leaven the yeast with warm water and 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar and then add it. Allow it to ferment, stirring occasionally.
