The coronavirus, which emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in the last months of 2019 and affected the whole world in a short time, dragged China into darkness again.
While many countries around the world are adapting to the old normal, remarkable news continues to come from China, which is the 'zero point of the virus'.
Kan Quancheng, head of the health commission in Henan, China's third most populous region, said 90 percent of the population has corona.
According to the news in the British Guardian newspaper, Quancheng made the following statements in his statement;
'As of January 6, the rate of Kovid-19 transmission in the region is 89 percent'
In other words, 88 million people in Henan, which has a population of 99 million, were affected by the coronavirus.
On the other hand, China has lifted travel restrictions for foreigners for the first time since March 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Thus, visitors entering the country will not be quarantined. However, there will still be a requirement to present a negative Covid test done within the last 48 hours.
400,000 people in Hong Kong are expected to head to mainland China in the coming weeks. Long queues formed on the planes going to cities such as the capital Beijing and Şiamen.
