The 42-year-old Haitian musician, whose real name is Michael Benjamin but better known by his stage name Mikaben, fell on stage during a concert in France.

While performing with his band Carimi in Paris at the weekend, Haitian singer Michael Benjamin suddenly fell ill and collapsed in front of the audience at the Accor Arena, which could accommodate more than 20,000 people.

The famous name, who could not be saved despite the interventions of the emergency service teams, died on the stage.

After the tragic event, Haiti Prime Minister Ariel Henry and the Accor Arena management, where the concert was held, made statements. The singer's pregnant wife shared a post on her Instagram account.
