Time magazine editors, who started voting in the past weeks, decided that the person who marked this year was Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The list also included former US President Donald Trump, US singer Beyonce, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and climate activist Greta Thunberg.
The magazine named the famous billionaire Elon Musk as the person of the year last year.
