Vinegar

Vinegar helps to remove scale from the kettle and remove scale buildup caused by hard water. Prepare a mixture of equal amounts of water and white vinegar. Fill the kettle halfway with this mixture and turn on the kettle and bring it to a boil. If the lime is too much, increase the vinegar ratio and boil it again.

Lemon juice
